After choosing Styles By Mel to do mine and my bridesmaid's hair for my wedding, I went for a trial to explore different styles, and decide exactly what I wanted. Giving Mel no more of an idea than me wanting it up, nothing too fancy, and showing her the decorative flower slide I'd bought, Mel was able to confidently discuss and suggest a range of different ideas. She talked me through the process whilst working on my hair, evolving and changing certain ideas as she went along. I was very happy with the result of the trial. On the day of the wedding, Mel and Kate came to the venue punctually and got to work on mine, the bridesmaid's and my mother's hair. It was a very pleasant experience and both Mel and Kate were professional, yet friendly and warm, which made us all feel very relaxed and in good hands. The wedding party were thrilled with their hair, and the whole experience was one I'd recommend from start to finish.

Mel did my wedding hair 12 years ago. She was amazing, she came to the house, she listened to what I wanted and we went through a trial run as well beforehand. I wanted half up and half down, I'm a bit of a Lord of the rings fan, so I wanted a circlet in my hair as well. She is a very talented lady and calmed my nerves on the morning of the big day as well.
